What distinguishes me from the other nutritionists?

I am a nutritional coach.  As well as having a Masters in Nutrition I am also a motivational coach (NLP practitioner) and I am a specialist in weight loss management.  My clients get results! Be it getting ready for a wedding, a special birthday, a holiday, any health reasons or simply getting fitter.

Many of my clients had been struggling with their weight for a long time and they thought they had tried everything; Weightwatchers, Atkins, cabbage soup etc. They often lost some weight but gained it again afterwards. These are the people I can help the most.

How can a nutritional coach help me? I’ve heard this many time: “I know what to eat – it’s just a matter of doing it.” So, here’s the obvious question: why aren’t you getting the results you want?

How I can help you?

Losing any amount of weight can be hard! Especially when we are dealing with bottled up emotions like boredom, stress, anger or sadness. That little tasty treat can temporarily make things feel better. It can be difficult to motivate ourselves to go to gym or cook healthy food. I understand that, as I’ve been there. As a nutritional coach, I am fully aware of bad food habits, their effects on our lives and can help you to break those. If you don’t change the way you perceive food you eat (not using it just to fill the emotional void) weight loss is practically impossible. Changing your mental attitude toward life and food, knowing your healthier food options and having someone to talk to about it is a paramount when you want to make a difference.

We will identify something unique to you, that you can change in order to get different results from what you are getting now! Yes, change can be difficult and it doesn’t come natural to some, but you can do it! With the right knowledge, nutritional guidance, practical and implementable NLP techniques and constant motivational support from me – We can do it!

Ultimately you are responsible for your success or failure.  Food is just one part of the big picture; behavioural changes are just as important if not more important and your success will depend on what you give up and how ready you are to change?

Weight loss equation.

Calories in (food and drink) vs. calories out (every day activity)!

The problem is, due to our modern lifestyle, majority of people simply eat more than they need to and exercise less!

Medical research has established that the majority of the health issues will get significantly better or even disappear if a person loses even 5% of their body weight (for 13 stone person 5% loss is around ~9 pounds!). Other studies have found that the average adult gains 1 to 2 pounds per year from their thirties onwards. This on average equates to a stone gain per decade. Together we can change this.

We are all different and the ‘One-Size-Fit-All’ approach is not working! So, you will get personalised, sustainable and flexible programme that suits your needs and lifestyle.

I do not believe in diets per se, however, initially some people simple have to cut their food intake (portion sizes) for a certain period of time in order to lose extra weight. At the beginning we will use one or more different methods such as; the 5:2, the 3:4, 8 Hour, Eat Little but Often diets and the Lemon detox programme to help you with the initial weight loss. Then you will learn the best ways to maintain it afterwards. Above all you will learn what heathy eating really means and how to easily recognise bad food habits and change them.

I am truly passionate about food and its effect that food has on our lives. I truly believe what Hippocrates said 400 BC “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”

I have training on Digestive issues IBS in particular and also conducted extensive research on this topic and consider myself experienced in the field. I have attended many conferences on digestion as well as CPD events. Member of The IBS Network Charity. I use Lorisian Food Intolerance testing with great success in the practice.

Cardiovascular health

I work with lot of people with Metabolic Syndrome (pre-diabetic state), to help them with weight control, cholesterol and glucose levels. I recommend general exercise routine since any form of physical activity (even simple walk around local park) can significantly improve health through a period of time. The appropriate supplement suggestions are made if required.


From personal experience and successful struggle with fertility issues in the past, I have conducted comprehensive research via self-directed learning and consider myself to be an expert on this subject. Other therapies, such as; acupuncture, homeopathy, reflexology, are appropriate when dealing with infertility and referrals are often suggested. In many cases, losing excess body weight seems to be an important factor when fertility is concern.

Sports nutrition

I work predominantly with clients who are distance runners, for example; triathlon, iron man or marathon runners, since I have considerable expertise in the subject by running London Marathon’s in the past myself. I give general dietary and supplement advice (where appropriate) and exercise regimen suggestions.
